Systemic corticosteroid with anti-inflammatory and immunosuppressive activity. Designed as an oral drops formulation for pediatric use.
Anti-inflammatory action
This oral medication delivers systemic corticosteroid activity to suppress excessive inflammatory responses. It effectively controls severe symptoms in conditions where inflammation drives the disease.Â
Antiallergic action
Prednisolone is used for severe or incapacitating allergic conditions that are not adequately controlled with conventional treatment. Relevant conditions include allergic rhinitis, asthma, contact dermatitis and atopic dermatitis.
Immunosuppressive action
Helps modulate excessive immune activity. This makes systemic corticosteroids useful in selected immune-mediated and autoimmune conditions.
