Piocortil Drops
Prednisolone Sodium Phosphate 5 mg/mL
Systemic corticosteroid with anti-inflammatory and immunosuppressive activity. Designed as an oral drops formulation for pediatric use.
Anti-inflammatory action
- Helps suppress excessive inflammatory responses.
- Useful in conditions where inflammation contributes significantly to disease symptoms.
- Provides systemic corticosteroid activity after oral administration.
Antiallergic action
Prednisolone is used for severe or incapacitating allergic conditions that are not adequately controlled with conventional treatment. Relevant conditions include allergic rhinitis, asthma, contact dermatitis and atopic dermatitis.
Immunosuppressive action
Helps modulate excessive immune activity. This makes systemic corticosteroids useful in selected immune-mediated and autoimmune conditions.
